Patch 5 for Baldur’s Gate 3 gave a new life to an unknown character

How gigantic is the 5th patch for Baldur’s Gate 3, and what the players found in the new update released the other day for the already giant role -playing game from Larian. This is the biggest update in the history of Baldur’s Gate 3: new ending, new games and many other changes and innovations.

Fans study the new version of the game with might and main and, quite predictably, find details that have not yet been voiced. Among them is the fact that Larian entered the Baldur’s Gate 3 unknown character: Impa named Bing -Bong. If this funny name does not tell you anything, it is normal, because it did not appear in any official documents on Baldur’s Gate 3, but Larian decided to introduce him into his narrative.

Bes appeared in the scene shown in the special party Dungeons & Dragons, which the actors played on the High Rollers YouTube channel. A very short two -part adventure allowed Jennifer Inglish (Shadouhart) and Devore Wilde (Laesel) to play a hilarious scene in which the IMP, after he was deployed at the party as a kind of pet, did not finish well, was used as an unnecessary weapon.

This event remained in the hearts of fans, and the actors themselves in the next weeks had fun, creating memes and phrases, but at the same time the game D&D was in no way canonical in relation to the events of the story of Larian. And yet, as some users found out on Reddit, the developers decided to pay tribute to this episode in the recently discovered dialogue.

During one of the conversations with Shedouhart, which can be obtained in the new ending, half a year after the end of the adventure, Semielfka talks about some adventures that she experienced during this time, simultaneously mentioning the Banging Bong.

A very funny gesture from Larian, which shows how much he cares about the community and generally about everything that was invented after the release of Baldur’s Gate 3.
